Why You MUST change

Do you want to reach your full potential and become all you were created to be? Then you MUST change.

What you need to hear is the truth. At times it is easy to fall into the temptation that your circumstances, where you have been, and other people are the reason you are not doing so well.

Please, I did not say that the horrible things that have happened to you are not painful. Listen carefully and pay close attention because what I am about to say is life-changing. I did not mean that it is what you are expecting or like to hear.

Pity parties are useless because they keep you grounded, and all they do is take away hope and make you weak.

Without change, you are going to remain where you are. It does not matter how many times you have tried and failed; if you don’t change something, you are going get the same results.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing day after day, month after month, year in year out, yet expecting to get a different outcome.

It is the same as saying you can plant corn expecting to harvest beans. As insane as this may sound, many of us live our lives like this. We don’t want to change anything but want to get results that are not aligned with our actions.

To reach your full potential, you may have to do the following:

Change your friends.

Change your location.

Change your business.

Change your career.

Change your name.

Change the books you read.

Change the moves you watch.

Change the music you listen to.

Change places you visit.

Change the people you hang around.

Change your belief system.

Change your culture.

Change your political party.

Change your investments.

Change how your vision and how you see yourself.

The number of things you may have to change depends on who you are where you are, you why and where you are going. While you are thinking about changing, I will leave you with this:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

Without a change of mind, nothing will change. It has to start in your mind then everything else will follow. This is not a one time deal; you have to renew your mind by taking in the right information continually. The Bible is the best place to start!

The IEM APPROACH is a holistic way of life; the physical and spiritual must be in synergy for real, lasting, and sustainable success.
